As the United Nations’ office in Washington, D.C., the UN Information Center serves as the focal point for UN news and information to advance understanding of the UN and its work, and to serve as a resource for United States government officials, NGOs, civil-society organizations and the American people.
The Center has information about the United Nations, including. the UN Charter, Most publications can be found online on the UN’s publications page
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: 1775 K Street, NW. We are located at the intersection of 18th and K Streets NW.
Visitors: All guests must stop at the security desk and will need photo ID. Groups of five or more need to submit a list to our office for prescreening.
