3 February 2020 (CSIS):  Success or Regress? The State of HIV in 2020

Regan Hofmann, Director, a.i., U.S. Liaison Office, UNAIDS participated in a panel discussion on 3 February hosted by the CSIS Global Health Policy Center, exploring the state of the HIV epidemic: where we are now, what we know works, and what can be accomplished in 2020.  Following the the panel, there was a sneak peak screening of the CSIS Global Health Policy Center’s upcoming documentary, The Pandemic Paradox: HIV on the Edge, which explores the long arc of the HIV pandemic against the backdrop of continued high levels of new infections and annual deaths.

with UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs

U.N. Undersecretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo, the highest-ranking American currently serving at the United Nations, delivered the keynote address on 29 January 2020 at an event in Washington, D.C. hosted by the United States Institute for Peace, The Stimson Center, Alliance for Peacebuilding, and the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area (UNA-NCA) on The Future of Multilateral Peacebuilding.”
