Tuesday, 8 October 

• Security Council briefing and consultations on the UN Peacekeeping Mission in Mali (MINUSMA); followed by a meeting of troop-contributing countries focused on the UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO)
• The World Health Organization launches the first World Report on Vision. 

Wednesday, 9 October

• Security Council briefing and consultations on the UN Peacekeeping Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO)

 Thursday, 10 October

• World Mental Health Day
• Secretary-General António Guterres attends the C40 World Mayors Summit in Denmark, meets with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and is scheduled to have an audience with Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.
• Security Council briefing and consultations on Colombia; followed consultations on the UN Integrated Peacebuilding Office in Guinea-Bissau (UNIOGBIS)
• The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) marks the International Day of Older Persons and launches World Population Ageing 2019 Highlights.

Friday, 11 October
